My Birthday at Le Fagotin

Let me begin by thanking all the ladies for joining me for a night out on my birthday. Like I have said before, there is no great night without great people surrounding you. I had a wonderful time and I`m very grateful for the people in my life. A special thanks to Jayne for the pleasant surprise and to my Facebook friends for the birthday wishes, we only get one day a year to celebrate and it`s very touching when people take a moment of their time. Funny how such a small gesture can brighten up a day, it put a very big smile on my face.

The night started perfectly. I highly recommend this elegant restaurant if you live on the South Shore or are in the St-Hubert area. Le Fagotin is a bring your own wine restaurant that serves French cuisine. It is a small charming place with an intimate feel to it. The food was absolutely delicious; everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. I enjoyed a Pork Filet in a pineapple cream sauce that tasted as good as it sounds. Mike Salera, who was our waiter as well as the owner was very pleasant as well as professional. I admire the hands on attitude, it shows how dedicated he is to making the restaurant as best as it can be. All in all, an absolutely exquisite dining experience. You can visit the website at www.lefagotin.com or on Facebook by clicking on Fagotin; they have a room available for groups if ever you are looking for a place for a special occasion.

It was a late night of dancing and singing at Scotyz. It had been a while since I had sang some karaoke, almost made me miss performing. Thankfully birthdays only happen once a year, 10 hours of fun for 48 hours of hangover - lol. Again, thanks to all the ladies, albeit a very painful next day, I had a great night.
